In Styria, the ninja scene is split between Graz and Upper Styria. If you're starting out in Graz, there are places to train in the city and more within easy driving distance.
Around Graz it's worth looking beyond the city: Upper Styria has gyms too — perfect for a weekend trip.
The Ninjaverband Austria doesn't run any gyms or keep its own lists of gyms or competitions. All gym and competition data comes from movum.fyi — please send any requests or complaints about listings to movum-contact@proton.me. Note on the selection of content
At competitions, each age group runs its own course and is ranked separately.
Upcoming competitions around Graz and across Austria.
You'll find an up-to-date list of every place to train in and around Graz on the gym map at movum.fyi — with addresses, websites and what each gym offers.
Competitions start in the Kids class (ages 7–11), followed by Youth (12–15), Junior (16–17), Adult (18+) and Masters (40+). Many gyms run classes for even younger children.
Not at all. Comfortable sportswear and shoes with good grip are all you need. A climbing or gymnastics background helps, but it isn't required — most gyms offer taster and beginner sessions.
