Responsible for content
Responsible for the content of this website pursuant to § 25 of the Austrian Media Act (MedienG):
Ninjaverband Austria
represented by its President, Christoph Hesse
fullsend@ninjaverband.at
Ninjaverband Austria is an association with legal personality, entered in the Austrian Register of Associations (ZVR number 1629511193). The association itself, represented by its President, is responsible for its own editorial content on this website (texts and images about the federation, general information pages on Ninja sport and the European Championships participant list).
The content of the embedded external directories (gyms, competitions) falls outside this responsibility — see the next section.
External data sources
Third-party directories:
The gym and competition directories shown on this website are sourced exclusively from the external database www.movum.fyi and embedded on this website.
Ninjaverband Austria does not maintain or update this data, is not involved in its editorial selection, collection or updating, and accepts no responsibility for the content of the entries shown — whether in terms of completeness, accuracy or currency, or of the selection made.
These directories are operated by, and are the sole responsibility of, the operator of www.movum.fyi — not Ninjaverband Austria.
The inclusion of a gym or competition in these directories does not constitute a recommendation by, or membership of, Ninjaverband Austria. Requests to add, change or delete entries, as well as complaints about entries, must be addressed directly to the operator of the database: movum-contact@proton.me (operator details: legal notice of movum.fyi). The federation can neither process nor forward such requests.
Exception — “Where to train” map: the map on the Where to train page is a community map on Google My Maps and is not sourced from movum.fyi. It is operated neither by Ninjaverband Austria nor by movum.fyi; requests for changes must be addressed to its creators via the map view on Google.
Note: The one exception is the European Championships 2026 participant list, which Ninjaverband Austria maintains itself — the athletes listed hold a UIPM licence through the federation.
Purpose of the association
Promotion, organisation and representation of Ninja sport in Austria, in particular staging competitions, building networks between athletes, clubs and parks, promoting youth and grassroots sport, and international cooperation. The association does not operate for profit.
Supervisory authority
The association authority under the Austrian Associations Act (the Regional Police Directorate competent for the association’s registered office).
Editorial independence & selection of content
Ninjaverband Austria is independent in the design of this website. It is not tied to any gyms, parks, organisers, clubs, companies or individuals and decides independently, on editorial grounds, what content to publish.
This applies in particular to naming, listing, linking to, presenting or promoting gyms, training venues, competitions, events, clubs, companies and individuals. The federation may include content or decline to include it, and may change or remove it at any time. There is no legal entitlement to inclusion, naming, mention, linking, promotion or any particular form of presentation.
A mention does not constitute a recommendation, rating, certification or cooperation. Equally, the absence of a mention does not constitute a rating. All content is for information purposes only, makes no claim to be complete, up to date or accurate, and is provided without guarantee.
Embedded third-party content – such as maps (e.g. Google My Maps) or data from external platforms like movum.fyi – is created by, and the responsibility of, the respective providers. The federation has no influence on its selection or presentation; requests for changes must be addressed directly to the respective provider.
We welcome reports of errors or updates to our own content at fullsend@ninjaverband.at – we review every report but are under no obligation to include it.
